ELIZA CATHERINE NOBLES

URBAN ECOLOGIST
DOCTORAL CANDIDATE IN BIODIVERSITY ETHICS

I am a researcher and designer dedicated to reshaping the intersections between nature, finance, and the built environment. I am currently a Doctoral Candidate at University of Gothenburg within the Financial Ethics Research Group. My research centers the ethics of biodiversity conservation, the valuation of nature, and environmental justice.

 

My interdisciplinary background focuses on cultivating environmental justice and health in the context of land use. I hold two master's degrees in City Planning + Urban Design (MCP + UD) and Environmental Studies (MES) from University of Pennsylvania (2023). I hold a self-directed bachelor's degree in Urban Ecology (BS) with a minor in Science, Technology, and Society from Drexel University (2019).
